HELLO EVERYONE!!!

Welcome to Film Geek Time Machine!  The Podcast where Austin Kennedy and Tim Kizer literally travel back in time to random dates of the past to watch movies in the theater, then talk about them.  As they travel back to all decades from the 1920s to the 1990s, Austin and Tim will watch and discuss movies from every era and genre, taking a look at known classics, as well as hidden gems.

Episode 4 is here, and for this episode, Austin and Tim travel back in time to a rare leap year date in February 1960.  They each picked 3 movies from the newspaper and had a 6-movie marathon.  Featured in this episode is a black comedy starring Glenn Ford & Debbie Reynolds, a Blake Edwards military screwball comedy, a classic sci-fi story by Jules Verne, an early slasher film about a famous serial killer, Bogart goes nuts on a boat, and Sir Alec Guiness attempts to murder a sweet little old lady.

Episode 3 is here, and for this episode Austin and Tim travel back to the summer of 1989, August 27th to be exact.  They each picked a few movies and had a 6-movie marathon, including a double feature at the Drive-in to close off the night.  The episode features a political thriller with Gene Hackman Vs. Tommy Lee Jones, an incoherent Sci-Fi time travel flick with Kris Kristofferson, Richard Dryfuss as an irresponsible gambler, Michael J. Fox butts heads with Sean Penn in a Vietnam war movie, Rick Moranis shrinks his children, and Tom Hanks solves crimes with a dog.

Episode 2 has arrived!!!  This time, Austin and Tim travel to the actual day Tim was born, August 22nd 1968, having a 6 movie marathon.  Since it was Tim’s birthday, he picked all 6 films…. including 3 Dean Martin westerns, the essential Lemmon & Matthau film, an odd George C. Scott con man "comedy", and an important Academy Award nominated film that makes a statement on interracial relationships.

The First episode has been released!  Austin and Tim go back in time to Austin's birthday, July 18th 1976, seeing 7 movies for an all-day marathon.  They will be talking about a Lee Marvin western/comedy, a satire on Mystery films, a raunchy spoof of TV shows, a Kris Kristofferson B-action flick, a car chase movie starring Ron Howard, and two B-films about older ladies breaking the law.
